How do I navigate the contact lists page?

  • Left-hand menu: This is where you can toggle between contact lists, analytics, and custom models
  • Right below “contact lists” you’ll see your list management tools:
    • Starting on the left, you have your mass selector tool which allows you to mass manage your lists
    • Then your tagging tool, which permits you to add tags to help organize your lists
    • And your trash icon, to delete lists.
      • Please note that if you delete a list it cannot be revived.
    • To the right side of that, you have your “search” bar, where you can use keywords from list titles to find the list you’re looking for.
  • On the right-hand side, you’ll see the ‘tags’ section. 
    • You can create ‘tags’ to organize your lists. 
    • At the bottom, you’ll see “add tag” and “manage tags”
      • When you click to add a tag, you can create a new tag which you can then apply to any contact list by clicking the tag button at the bottom of the list you want.
      • When you click manage tags, you’ll be met with a drawer where you can:
        • Search your tags
        • Add tags
        • Edit your tag name
        • Or delete tags
      • To leave the manage tag drawer, click ‘close’ at the right corner of the page

Add contact list and get Contrast:

  • Clicking “add contact list” will bring you to the contact list uploading wizard.
  • Clicking “get contrast” will take you to a form page where you can request a CONTRAST report.

  • Contact list section:
    • The selector box which you can use to select multiple lists you’d like to tag or delete
    • The list name, which you can click to go into the list and get your insights, personas, and analytics
    • On the right-hand side of the list box, you’ll see three dots.
      • You can use this to edit or delete the list:
        • When you click edit, you can change the name or description of the list.
        • On the bottom of the box, you’ll see “exclude training data” this is if you’re doing any custom modeling.
    • Under the list name, you’ll see:
      • Total records, matched records, unmatched records, and segments.
        • Total records mean the number of records uploaded
        • Matched means the number of records we were able to match to our third-party vendors and enriched with data points
        • Unmatched means records we were not able to match to our third-party vendors
        • Segments are the number of segments inside your contact list
      • Below your record information is where you can apply tags and delete tags
