Why did my ads not get the traction I had hoped for in my first month? 

We look at the first month of ads as a baseline for performance. Once we see how things go the first month we make suggestions for changes such as creatives, landing pages, and changes to the audience. We make a single change at a time until we hit optimum performance.

What is a match back report and why do we have to provide all of our donation data instead of just the data about donations that came through our specific landing page?

The short answer to this is that sometimes humans don’t act the way we want them to. Think about the last time you saw an ad for something online, did you immediately click through it and go to that landing page? Or, did you wait until later, and unable to find that ad again google the company or the item? Sometimes people that see your ads online either don’t have the time to click through at that moment or simply want to google around and see what you’re all about before committing to the initial donation. By requesting to match back all of your donor data we are simply covering all our bases and trying to determine which of those donations was initiated by our audience.
